Event Details

Training is a critical part of workplace safety.  It can help ensure employees are up to date on safety practices, motivate them to always work safety and bring new workers safely on board knowing the company’s safety practices and procedures.  But what do you do if you’re the one who has to do the training?  This workshop will help you learn ways on how to deliver more effective and engaging training using the resources you have on hand.  Attendees will learn:

  • Best ways to deliver training from a PowerPoint to simple Risk Reminders.
  • Keep employees involved and engaged.
  • Make your sessions fun and interesting.
  • How to ensure understanding even with language barriers exist.

Join us for a fun and lively workshop that will help you energize your training program!

Matthew Albanese has over 12 years in corporate Learning and Development focusing in areas of Employee Development and Engagement, Leadership Development, and Communication Skills.  He is also a Gallup-certified Strengths Coach and certified Fitness Coach.  His expertise includes In-person and Virtual Workshops, Content design, One-on-one Coaching and Team building.  Matt has held workshops in the following areas:

A catered lunch will be provided by WCTI at 11:45 AM between the Task Force on Hazard Recognition and afternoon Train-the-Trainer on Ergonomics.
