Angie Blakeney, CCMSI, discussed the roles and responsibilities of the Loss Control, Finance and Claims Committee for WCTI. The Committee Members are WCTI Trustees. A review of payroll vs Standard Premium revealed that Standard Premium is decreasing at a higher rate than payroll. The rapid decline in Standard Premium is a result of the reduction in WCTI rates passed along to the Members.
There were a variety of breakout sessions for Members to choose from at this year’s event. Loss Control sessions included Continuous Improvement In Safety Programs and Training as well as OSHA Activity. The claims session educated Members on Fraud Prosecution. The remaining topics were Swaying Organization Change: How to Discuss Drug Testing Safety + Fairness with Leadership, Adjustment Bill Review, Post Covid 19 Workplace and the Henry Pratt Shooting, What Was & What to Know. All of the sessions received rave reviews.
It was so great to see everyone in person again. Thank you for making this year’s meeting a huge success, we look forward to seeing you next year.
