Machine Guarding is a critical component of most manufacturing safety programs.  There seems to be as many hazards created by moving machine parts as there are types of machines.  Safeguards are essential to protect employees from crushing injuries, amputations, blindness and more.  This phone-in session will identify:

• the hazardous parts of machinery
• the hazardous actions and motions of machinery
• methods of safeguarding.
• how to approach and manage your machine guarding program.

Anita Worden, BSN, ASP, is a Loss Control Supervisor with CCMSI.  She has 40 years of professional experience in safety and health and has been with WCTI for 3 1/2 years.
