This session will focus on the loading and unloading of cargo /products on trucks such as box trucks, open flatbed trailers and tractor trailer units.

Discussions include:

• Truck drivers’ procedures
• Dock workers’ loading and unloading steps and
• Safe precautions.

Fall protection is also a key part of the procedures which is directed in the Walking Working Surfaces Standard.

The presenters are Dean Chiz and Rick Wozniak, both Loss Control Consultants from the CCMSI Transportation Division who work with trucking operations on a daily basis and evaluate Cargo Securement operations.

Lunch will be served at 11:45 AM and the Train-the-Trainer session will begin at 12:30 PM.
